Launch of the Founder Scholarship Scheme 2025

The Founder Scholarship Scheme, 2025, has been instituted to commemorate the visionary founders of NSMS Nursing Institute—visionaries who felt that no meritorious student should be denied an education because of financial constraints.

The merit-based scholarship scheme offers funding under two different eligibility tracks, ensuring equal opportunity for all students across academic backgrounds.

Scholarship Categories

A.   Based on Higher Secondary (HS) Examination Marks

This category awards the students who have performed steadily well in academics throughout their school life:

• 60% and above: ₹25,000/- scholarship
• 75% and above: ₹50,000/- scholarship

The scholarship is designed to encourage the students who have made a strong academic commitment and are about to take the dignified step into the nursing field.

 

B.   Based on JENPAS-UG Rank

(Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences – Undergraduate)

This category rewards top performers in the state-level entrance exam:

• Rank up to 1500: 100% Fee Waiver (Hostel fees only to be paid)
• Rank 1501 to 2000: 50% Tuition Fee Waiver (Students pay hostel fee + balance Remaining tuition fee)

By incorporating a state-level entrance exam, NSMS guarantees an open-access, merit-based method of selecting meritorious candidates.
